There have been elegant skaters; there have been athletic skaters; there have been excellent technical skaters; there have been skaters with a lot of energy. The only skater I have ever seen with all of these attributes is Tonya. I believe Tonya is the most exciting skater I've ever watched.

Had it not been for the fiasco with Tonya's ex-husband and his buddies and Nancy Kerrigan (and I've yet to see any proof that Tonya knew about it ahead of time) and the emotional stress it caused Tonya, I have no doubt she would have easily won the gold medal. I'm truly sorry she didn't.

Nancy was NOT the only one injured that day. Tonya was as well. Nancy has long since recovered but Tonya will unfairly be made to pay for the rest of her life.
